Over the last few weeks, we’ve been hosting a weekly happy hour via our Instagram stories for the Wallis community. From Mojitos to Margaritas, we've featured a different cocktail recipe every Saturday to provide you with a little light relief and an evening treat. Here, we’ve rounded up our favourite happy hour cocktails, so you can enjoy them at home anytime you like!
INGREDIENTS
Equal parts: Campari, Gin, & Martini Rosso
Orange peel to garnish
METHOD
Pour the Campari, Gin, & Martini into a jug and mix
Fill a glass with ice & pour mixture over the top
Give a quick squeeze of the orange peel into the glass and garnish
Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
Juice of 1 lime
1 Tsp granulated sugar
1 Small handful of mint leaves, (plus extra for garnish!)
60ml white rum
METHOD
Mix the lime juice, sugar and mint leaves in a small jug,
making sure to crush the mint as you go
Pour the mixture into a glass and add the ice
Pour over the rum, and stir with a long spoon
Top up with your soda water, garnish with a mint leaf
Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
2 Tsp sugar syrup (or 1 tsp of granulated sugar)
1-2 splashes of Angostura Bitters
Splash of water
60ml of Scotch whiskey or bourbon
Soda water
Orange slice
METHOD
Mix the sugar, bitters and water together in a glass
until the water dissolves
Fill the glass with ice, then stir in the whiskey
If you like, add a splash of soda water and mix
Garnish with the orange slice
Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
45ml of Lemon vodka
15ml of Triple Sec
30ml of Cranberry juice
10ml of Lime juice
Ice
Lime wedge to garnish
METHOD
Shake all ingredients with ice
Strain mixture into a cocktail glass
Attach your lime wedge to the edge of the glass
Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
120ml of Pineapple juice
60ml of White rum
60ml of Coconut cream
A wedge of pineapple to garnish
METHOD
Add all your ingredients and a handful of ice to a blender
Pulse until smooth
Pour into a tall glass and garnish with the pineapple
Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
50ml of Tequila
1.5 tbsp of Lime juice (plus extra for the glass!)
1 tbsp of Triple Sec
Salt and a slice of lime to serve
METHOD
Put a little salt on a plate and wipe the rim
of your glass with lime juice
Turn the glass upside down in the salt, twisting to coat
Stir your ingredients and a little ice together
Strain into a chilled martini glass
Serve with a slice of lime
Enjoy!
