“I would say that in the last few years I have started consciously making my wardrobe work for the weekend. If I buy a blouse or skirt, it’s likely to be one that can be worn with smart pieces for work and with jeans either on a Friday or on the weekend. The faux leather skirt I’ve pulled for these looks can be worn in so many different ways, it’s a great piece to have in your wardrobe, it’s super soft too!”
“I’m a big fan of coats, I tend to have quite a few on rotation so that I can style different looks with them.
I also love faux leather; I think it’s such an easy look to wear this season. It's wearable every day and for going out with heels - I know we’ve not done much of that this year, however I think for birthdays and over the festive period, I will most certainly incorporate a faux leather look, it makes me feel glam!”
“I’ll be honest, it's smart on top and comfortable on the bottom for me. I still wear the same type of pieces; I just keep it relaxed on the bottom. I find that I do need to wear something relatively smart so that I can get in the right headspace, but I don’t want to be sat in a suit all day if I don’t need to be."
"I have worked from home at least part time consistently for the last 10 years, so whilst I am still very used to going into the office and I miss it, I am set up to work from home and I know what works well for me. I can’t underestimate the effect of getting dressed properly, I know it sounds like the last thing you want to do if you’re at home all day but I have tried to work in my PJs and as much as I love them I do feel lethargic - don’t get me wrong, I still have those days especially during the pandemic and I’m not hard on myself, I just know how I work best and it’s putting on some proper clothes so that I feel together.”
