The thing that’s bringing me joy…

Do odd bits and bobs around my flat, making it a nicer place to be while at home. I haven’t bought anything new, just rejigging things we already had makes it feel fresher and gives me that little win feeling – super important right now.

How I’m staying active…

Running – not far or fast but it’s the perfect way to clear my head and leave me feeling positive.

How I’m staying positive…

Games! From snap to charades, silly games with my boyfriend gives me all the laughs right now.

Currently bingeing…

Tiger King on Netflix, jaw dropping to watch.

Next on the list…

Next on my reading list is The Flat Share by Beth O’Leary, heard lots of good things!

How I’m staying connected…

FaceTime makes me stay close to my family and friends. It’s also a huge help in adjusting to working from home when you’re used to seeing your colleagues everyday.

I can’t wait to…

To not have to cross the road when someone is walking towards me on the pavement. It feels rude and unnatural to be so distant with other people, but safety first!

The thing that’s bringing me joy…

Being able to wake up two hours later than usual! Wearing slippers all day, and cat cuddles all day!

How I’m staying active…

Instagram live workouts.

How I’m staying positive…

Making sure I make my bed every morning, this way you always start the day right! 

Currently bingeing…

The Stranger on Netflix.

How I’m staying connected…

I did a pub quiz with my friends via Zoom at the weekend ... great fun.

I can’t wait to…

Meet my friends at the pub & enjoy the sun properly, hopefully get to go on my summer holidays, and see all my work friends again .. miss you all !!!

The thing that’s bringing me joy…

Is great weather and my pets!

How I’m staying active…

By going running in the countryside daily and doing some home workouts.

How I’m staying positive…

By being appreciative of everything I have got and embracing all the extra time I have to spend with family.

Currently bingeing…

A variety of Netflix series.

Next on the list…

Is 'The Devil Wears Prada'.

How I’m staying connected…

I'm staying connected by being active on social media and constantly face timing friends and relatives.

I can’t wait to…

See all my friends whilst enjoying a few cocktails in the sun.

The thing that’s bringing me joy…

What’s bringing me joy is the connection I’ve had with friends and family all over the world – Zoom Party’s, FaceTime drinks, houseparty shenanigans and virtual sober raves. I feel more connected in some ways than we did before, because I have time to be.

How I’m staying active…

Using tabata intensive exercise bursts, and running with social distancing.

How I’m staying positive…

I’m staying positive through my non-negotiable morning rituals which are: fresh lemon water, essential vitamins, breath work, meditation, tabata exercise routine, and cold showers.

Currently bingeing…

Netflix series ‘Next in Fashion’ – reminding me to get back to be creative as a designer.

Next on the list…

‘The Life & Lines’ by Brandon Block.

How I’m staying connected…

FaceTime & Zoom group calls with my team, friends and conference calls with directors.

I can’t wait to…

When I get out of here I can’t wait to hug everyone I love.
